JSCE Guidelines for Concrete No.11
"JSCE-STANDARDS ON TEST METHODS OF REPAIRING MATERIALS USED FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURES"
This guideline contains the JSCE standard on test methods for concrete repair materials.
As the number of deteriorated concrete structures is increasing in Japan, the demand for use of repair materials has also increased at a high rate. To date many kinds of repair materials has been developed and are commercially available. However, a test standard for their physical or chemical characteristics is still not firmly established. Therefore, great many difficulties must be overcome to obtain the best performance of repair materials for use in repair, work of deteriorated concrete structure.
JSCE organized a Working Group in 1989 to establish a JSCE standard on the test method for concrete repair materials. Standards that have been proposed since then are listed here.

Subcommittee on Seismic Design of Concrete Structures (JSCE 329)
Six month after the 1995 Hyogoken Nanbu Earthquake, the JSCE Task Committee 303 on seismic behavior of concrete structures (Chair: Prof. K. Maruyama, Nagaoka University of Technology) was established, and fruitful discussions on the seismic behavior and performance verification of RC structures were held. Following the conclusions reached by Committee 303 in 2003, a Task Committee 329 on seismic design of concrete structures (Chair: Prof. H. Shima, Kochi University of Technology) was established. The objectives of the activities of the committee are: to investigate the current technical situation of seismic design, to investigate the techniques for a hgoodh structural design using JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures (Seismic Performance Verification) published in 2002, and to discuss about the essential numerical techniques and the required performance of RC structures.
