History of Concrete Technology in Japan

JSCE was founded in 1914, and in 2014 it celebrated its 100th anniversary. Development of concrete technologies in Japan also began about 100 years ago. The figure below shows a brief history of concrete-related issues in Japan. There were many projects and disaster during 100 years, and they lead to the development of concrete technology.
