Joint seminar inUlaanbaatar (Mongoliar) Concrete Committee of JSCE and the Mongolian Concrete Association(MCA) held a joint seminar on June 9, 2017, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Organized as part of the MCA Annual International Conference 2017, "Concrete Industry - Current and Future" the seminar included two lecturers by representatives from Japan on the JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures and related research and international activities. LONG-TERM PLAN FOR STRUCTURAL REPLACEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF EXPRESSWAY BRIDGES IN JAPAN The expressway network has become an indispensable part of the basic infrastructure that supports social and economic activities in Japan. In this report, the major factors causing damage to expressway bridges are systematically investigated based on the results of structural soundness predictions and comprehensive inspections carried out by the managing companies.
