企画テーマ 企画テーマ(英訳)	使ってみたくなる公共交通システム Public Transportation System with High Willingness to Use
企画概要	公共交通（特にバス）の活性化に関する議論のほとんどはサービス水準の改善である．しかし，利用者のことを考えると，公共交通を利用することにより，本来，車や他の交通手段を使うなら行える活動を実施できなくなったり，活動時間を短縮せざるをえなくなったりする．活性化を議論する際に，車内空間，バス停やスタッフといった資源を活用し，ほかの交通手段を使うなら遂行できる利用者の活動の一部を代行したり，利用者の多様なニーズに配慮した車内サービスを提供したりすることにより，バスの利用抵抗がより小さくなり，利用者の増加，収入増につながると考えられる．このような視点からの事例・研究報告，斬新なアイデアの紹介を募集する．
企画概要(英訳)	Most of policies that attempt to increase uses of public transportation system have been focusing on the improvement of service levels. However, thinking about users’ behaviors, due to the use of public transportation system, they usually have to either cancel some of activities that can be done when using other types of travel modes, or to reduce the duration of activity. In order to further promote the use of public transportation system, it might be a good idea to make effective use of, e.g., bus vehicles, bus stops and staff to conduct some types of activities that could be done when using other travel modes on behalf of users, or to provide some attractive in-vehicle services. Relevant case studies, research reports/papers, and introduction of innovative ideas are welcome.
