本日締切でしたが，6月4日日本時間14時まで締切を延長いたしましたので連絡申し上げます．
投稿しようと思っていたが時間がなくて断念された方には，引き続き論文を作成頂き投稿くださると幸いです．
実務の方々からの積極的な投稿をお待ちしております．
また，大学関係の方々は現在指導中もしくは卒業された留学生に以下の文章を用いて論文投稿を呼びかけて頂けると大変助かります．

Subject: Deadline extended (EASTS: Practical paper)
Dear EASTS members,
As you have already known, the 8th EASTS Conference will be held in Surabaya on November 16-19, 2009.
EASTS-ISC informs you that we extend the submission deadline of the Practical Paper to June 4, 2009, at 14:00 (Japan Standard Time). (Original deadline was May 21, 2009).
We would like to remind you that some excellent Practical Papers, as well as such Academic papers, will be published in our selected new journal (Asian Transport Studies) after the conference. Several authors of the Practical Paper with the excellent review results and belong to the following EASTS member from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mongolia will be provided financial support from EASTS, as well as the authors of excellent Academic paper.

- we ask all authors to strictly follow our paper format.

- any papers submitted without the EASTS membership ID cannot be presented
nor included in the Proceedings. If you are a non-Regular Member ID holder
currently, you are requested to apply for membership to one of the Domestic
Societies you (will) belong to by 18 June 2009 at the latest.
