| 新西海橋は、並列する西海橋との景観調和を重視したアーチ支間230mの鋼中路ブレースドリブアーチである。アーチリブは片面あたり3本の鋼管で構成され、内部に高流動コンクリートを充填することで鋼管の局部座屈強度の向上とコンクリート圧縮強度の向上を図るなど合理的な構造となっている。施工では、海上からの部材供給が困難なため、ケーブルクレーンを用いた斜吊り工法が採用され、組立精度、斜吊りケーブル張力、コンクリート充填状況などが重点管理された。アーチリブへのコンクリート充填に関しては、コンクリートの圧送性、材料分離や充填不良、漏水の有無等が試験施工により確認された。 | Shin Saikai Bridge is a steel braced-rib halfthrough arch bridge with a 230-meter arch span. The bridge was designed from an aesthetic viewpoint to harmonize with the existing Saikai Bridge, which marks the beginning of long-span bridge construction in Japan. Each arch rib consists of three steel pipes which are filled with high-fluidity concrete to obtain high local buckling strength and to increase the concrete compressive strength. The filled concrete's quality and performance have been ensured in full-scale tests. |
