新湊大橋は、伏木富山港の港湾物流の円滑化・効率化を図るため富山新港港口部の東西地区を結ぶ全長3.6kmの臨港道路富山新港東西線の主橋梁部であり、全長600m、主塔の高さ127m、中央径間360mの主桁を鋼床版箱桁、側径間120mをPC箱桁とする5径間連続複合斜張橋である。 桁下に幅3mの自転車歩行者道を吊り下げた2層構造とし、冬季の気候への配慮や利用者が閉塞感を感じないように側面は透明なアクリル板とした。 主塔の形状はＡ形を採用し、色彩は白に統一することによって、立山連峰を背景とする周囲とも調和する美しくシャープなデザインとなっている。 |
The Shin-Minato Bridge is part of a 3.6-km-long port road connecting the eastern and western areas of the harbor entrance to the Toyama New Port. As the main bridge of the harbor road, the 600-m-long Shin-Minato Bridge possesses 127-m-high main masts and a central span of 360m. The bridge was designed as a double deck structure with bicycle and pedestrian access under the roadway. Concerning the bridge design, the A-form of the main masts and uniform white finish produce an attractive and sharp appearance that harmoniously blends with Tateyama Mountain Range in the distance. |
