オスマン・ガーズィー橋（俗称：イズミット湾横断橋）

概要	Summary
オスマン・ガーズィー橋は、トルコ共和国のイスタンブールとイズミルを結ぶ全長420kmの高速道路BOT事業のうち、世界第4位となる中央径間長1,550mの吊橋である。 本橋は、世界有数の活断層に直近するため、大地震時には主塔ケーソン基礎が海底面を滑ることを許容する免震構造を、世界の吊橋で初めて適用した。また、主構造物の設計耐用年数100年を達成するため、塩分浸透抵抗性の高いコンクリート配合を採用し、主塔、メインケーブル及び主構造物内面は送気乾燥システムによって防錆した。さらに、橋梁全体に設置したセンサーのデータを用い、構造健全性のモニタリングを行っている。 以上、これらの技術は、橋梁技術の発展に大きく寄与することから、土木学会田中賞に値するものと認められた。	Osman Gazi Bridge is the world’s fourth longest suspension bridge with a central span length of 1550m, which is a highway BOT project with a total length of 420 km connecting Istanbul and Izmir in the Republic of Turkey. The bridge adopts a seismic isolation technology that allows the caisson foundation of the main tower to slide on the seabed during large-scale earthquakes. At the same time, durability and monitoring technology were considered to contribute to the future development of the bridge technology and deserves the Japan Society of Civil Engineers Tanaka award.
