| アザメの瀬自然再生の目的は「河川の氾濫原的湿地の再生」と「人と生物のふれあいの再生」である。対象とする生物は、ドジョウ・コイ・フナ・ナマズ・カワエビなど昔、水田や川でとることができた身近に見られたものとした。アザメの瀬の湿地環境再生の計画を立案した後、段階的施工と専門家の指導による検証および改善を行う「順応的な管理」を行ってきた。また、計画当初から地域の住民と行政関係者が集まり、学識者をアドバイザーとしてアザメの瀬検討会を設置して、調査・計画から管理までにわたって徹底した住民参加による議論を行った。さらに、現在も定期的なモニタリング調査を継続しており、地域の環境教育における重要な拠点となっている。 | The goals of the Azamenose Riverine Wetland Restoration Project are to restore the riverine wetland as a floodplain and to restore the interaction between humans and small organisms such as loaches, carps, crucian carps, catfish, and river shrimps which used to be seen. After designing the framework of the project, an adaptive management approach has been taken, in which a wetland has been experimentally created, evaluated and modified based on expert opinions. Also, several meetings are held to discuss researches, planning, and monitoring schemes and activities. A periodical monitoring research on the wetland has been conducted, which is an important educational opportunity for the public. |
